Split-thickness skin grafting (STSG) provides the best functional and aesthetic result in the treatment of wounds of the penis. Achieving grafts adherences and take in this anatomically mobile region is challenging. A simple method to ensure penile skin graft immobilization and easy accessibility is presented. The method uses a hollow cylinder made of DuoDERM? CGF? applied to the pubis around the penis. I found DuoDERM? CGF? to be an excellent postoperative compressive penile dressing. Although compressive the material is elastic enough to avoid vascular occlusion and to allow slight swelling of the penis. It is removed easily without any harm to the patient. The method is simple to use, and comfortable both for patients and for the nursing staff. (J Korean Wound Management Soc 2009;5:44-46)
